Fuel the Future with the Cocobots!
We are the Cocobots! A youth-led Cook Islands Robotics Club using STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) to solve real-world and global challenges.
Our team stood on the world stage and won Gold in our alliance with China, Madagascar, and Moldova at the 2024 FIRST Global Robotics Challenge, which was a proud moment for the Cook Islands. After bringing home Gold, we’ve earned the chance to represent the Cook Islands once again. This time at the FIRST Global Robotics Challenge 2025 in Panama City, 29 Oct – 1 Nov.
Your support will power our journey and inspire the next generation of Cook Islands innovators, engineers, and tech leaders.

Why join the Cook Islands Robotics Club?
Hands-On Learning

Kids learn best by doing, and our interactive classes allow them to design, build, code, and test their own unique robots, and pilot them in Global Robotics Competitions
Innovative STEM

Our curriculum combines the latest in robotics technology with foundational STEM principles, ensuring a well-rounded practical skills based education programme
Expert Mentors

Our team of experienced Instructors, Mentors and STEM enthusiasts are dedicated to fostering a love for technology and innovation in every student
Meet our Mentors

We want to give Cook Islands Children and Youths a chance to explore and engage with STEM in a fun and practical way. Joining a Robotics Club lets them tackle technical engineering challenges in a supportive and fun environment with kids who share that same curiosity and passion for STEM!
Mii Nimerota, President

As a Mentor I’ve seen first-hand how curiosity and determination in robotics challenges can shift kids mindsets when it comes to STEM. Its not just about building robots – its about building kids confidence, skills, teamwork, and passion for innovation!
